Pelión (Caonia)

Pelión, també Pellion o Pelium (en grec: Πήλιον, Πέλλιον o Πήλεον), va anar un assentament fortificado de la tribu caonia dels dasaretas,^[1]^[2]^[3] ara situat en Goricë i Madhë,^[4] Albània, en la frontera entre l'antiga Iliria i Epiro. Pelión més vesprada va servir com a fortalea fronteriça de Macedònia.^[5]^[6] En algun moment en el 335 a. C., just abans de la batalla de Pelión, va ser ocupada pels dardanios, dirigits per Clito de Dardania, que va lluitar junt a Glaucias dels Taulantios contra Alejandro Magne.^[7]^[8]
