Estratègia de la falca
La Estratègia de la falca o Argument de la falca (en anglés Wedge Strategy ) és un pla d'acció polític i social propost pel Discovery Institute, centre del moviment del disseny inteligent.
L'estratègia va ser publicada i iniciada en un manifest del Discovery Institute conegut com el Document Wedge,[1] en el que es descriu una agenda social, política i acadèmica l'objectiu final de la qual és "derrotar al materialisme científic" representat pel evolucionisme, "revertir la visió mundial del materialisme i reemplaçar-l'en una visió científica concorde a les conviccions del cristianisme i del teisme"[2] i "afirmar la realitat de Deu."[3] La seua meta és "renovar" la cultura nortamericana molejant les polítiques públiques per a que reflectixquen valors cristians, principalment protestants.[4]
El disseny inteligent és la creència de que certes coses de l'univers i sers vius poden ser millor explicats per mig d'una causa inteligent, no per un procés naturaliste com el de selecció natural. Dins de les conjectura del disseny inteligent es troba l'idea de redefinir la ciència i com esta es conduïx. Els proponentes de l'estratègia Wedge s'oponen al materialisme,[5][6][7] el naturalisme,[6][8] i l'evolucionisme,[9][10][11] i han establit com el seu objectiu explícit que siguen reemplaçades.[12][13]
