Tetratomidae

Tetratomidae

Tetratomidae és una família de coleòpters polífagos. La família consistix en varis gèneros que estaven en la família Melandryidae. Són escarabats associats als arbres morts infectats de foncs a on habiten i a on les larves es desenrollen. L'espècie més comuna en Europa és Tetratoma fungorum, oval de 3 mm de llarc en tórax, pates i segments de les antenes de color taronja, el restant és de color negre.
