Rhyzodiastes denticauda
Rhyzodiastes denticauda és una espècie d'escarabat terrestre, categorizada en la tribu Clinidiini, de la subfamília Rhysodinae.[1][2][3][4]
L'espècie medix 6,8-7 mm de llongitut (0,27-0,28 polzades).[5] Conta en un estilet antenal de forma cònica, segments antenales externs molt curts, grossos i cilíndrics, regates frontals planes i ulls relativament curts.[5]
Taxonomia
[editar | editar còdic]S'atribuïx la seua descripció als entomólogos d'orige nortamericà Ross Taylor Bell i Joyce Elaine Rockenbach Bell, els qui la varen citar per primera volta en 1985.[2] L'espècie apareix registrada en la secció Rhysodini of the world. Part IV. Revision of Rhyzodiastes FAIRMAIRE and Clinidium KIRBY, with new species in other genera (Coleoptera: Carabidae or Rhysodidae) de Quaestiones Entomologicae, 21: 1-172, publicada per Bell, R.T. i Bell, J.R. en 1985.[2]
Distribució
[editar | editar còdic]Es distribuïx per Àsia, en Indonèsia, en l'illa de Borneo.[2][6]
