John Flamsteed (Denby, 19 d'agost de 1646 - † Greenwich, 31 de decembre de 1719) fon un astrònom britànic. Com a Primer Astrònom Real, va tindre al seu càrrec la creació del Real Observatori de Greenwich.
Fon l'autor del catàlec estelar Atlas Coelestis publicat pòstumament en l'any 1729.[1]
