Regió activa
Una regió activa és una regió temporal de l'atmòsfera estelar del Sol caracterisada per un camp magnètic fort i complex. A sovint s'associen en taques solars i solen ser la font de erupció violentes tals com eyeccions de massa coronal i erupció solars[1] El número i l'ubicació de les regions actives en el disc solar en un moment donat depén del cicle solar.[2][3][4][5][6]
