Semnopithecus schistaceus

El langur gris de Nepal (Semnopithecus schistaceus) és una espècie de primat catarrino de la família Cercopithecidae que habita en els Himalayas i Nepal, suroest de China, nort d'Índia, nort de Pakistan, Bhutan i possiblement Afganistan.[1] Li'l troba en bosc en altitutés de 1500 a 4000 m s. n. m. La seua presència més oriental en Índia és la Reserva Buxa Tiger al nort de Bengala Occidental, fins al riu Rydak.[2][3]
És un animal tant terrestre com arbòreu i la seua dieta es compon de fulls. L'espècimen més gran colectado va pesar 26,5 kg, sent el langur més gran conegut.[4]
