Igraine

Representació de Merlín, Arturo e Igraine

En la llegenda artúrica, Igraine és la mare del rei Arturo. També coneguda en llatí com a Igerna, en galés com Eigyr, en francés com Igerne, en l'obra Li Morte d'Arthur de Thomas Malory com Ygrayne i en l'obra Parzival de Wolfram von Eschenbach, com Amive). Es convertix en dòna d'Uther Pendragón, pero el seu primer marit va ser Gorlois, del matrimoni del qual, segons Mallory i autors posteriors, varen nàixer tres filles: Elaine, Anna-Morgause i Morgana le Fay.
