Italiano: Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. nr. 9558). Da Pompeii, Tempio di Iside, Ekklesiasterion – L’affresco mostra Io a Canopo, trasportata dal Nilo, giunge in Egitto, dove viene accolta da Iside che le ridà l'aspetto umano (era stata trasformata in vacca dalla gelosa Hera; vedi le sue corna).
English: Io (on the left, with horns) is welcomed in Egypt by Isis (sitting, holding a snake and with a crocodile at her feet).

Io is carried by a river god, setting her down at Kanopus near Alexandria. Roman fresco from the temple of Isis in Pompeii.

Deutsch: Io (mit Hörnern) wird von Isis (rechts, eine Kobra haltend und mit einem Krokodil zu ihren Füßen) in Ägypten begrüßt.

Im Hintergrund Offizianten des Isiskults. Io wird von einem Flußgott getragen, der sie bei Kanopus nahe Alexandria auf ägyptischen Boden setzt. Römisches Fresko aus dem Tempel der Isis in Pompeji.
