El tucanete de Wagler (Aulacorhynchus wagleri) és una espècie d'au piciforme de la família Ramphastidae endèmica de Mèxic. El nom de l'espècie commemora al herpetólogo i ornitólogo alemà Johann Georg Wagler.[1] És considerada com subespecie del tucán esmeralda (Aulacorhynchus prasinus) per algunes autoritats taxonómicas No es reconeixen subespecies.
