Igraine

Representació de Merlín, Arturo e Igraine

En la llegenda artúrica, Igraine és la mare del rei Arturo. També conegut en llatí Igerna, en galés com Eigyr, en francés com Igerne, en l'obra Li Morte d'Arthur de Thomas Malory com Ygrayne i en l'obra Parzival de Wolfram von Eschenbach, com Amive). Es convertix en dòna d'Uther Pendragón, pero el seu primer marit va ser Gorlois, del matrimoni del qual, segons Mallory i autors posteriors, varen nàixer tres filles: Elaine, Anna-Morgause i Morgana le Fay.
