Osteophloeum platyspermum

Osteophloeum platyspermum és una planta Magnoliopsida, l'única espècie del gènero monotípic Osteophloeum . És una planta pertanyent a la família de les Myristicaceae.

Descripció

Es caracterisa per tindre 12-14 anteres. Arilo sancer. Pèls de les branques jóvens pluriramificats.

Taxonomia

Osteophloeum platyspermum va ser descrita per (Spruce ex A.DC.) Warb. i publicat en Nova Acta Academiae Caesareae Leopoldino-Carolinae Germanicae Naturae Curiosorum 68: 162–163. 1897.
