Bernard Yack (naixcut en l'any 1952) és un teòric polític nortamericà d'orige canadenc.
Obtingué la seua llicenciatura (B.A.) en l'Universitat de Toronto i el seu doctorat en Filosofia (Ph.D.) en l'Universitat de Harvard, a on fon alumne de Judith Shklar. Yack ha impartit docència en numeroses universitats, entre elles l'Universitat de Princeton i l'Universitat de Wisconsin–Madison. És autor d'obres de filosofia política i social com The Problems of a Political Animal[1] i The Longing for Total Revolution: The Philosophic Sources of Social Discontent from Rousseau to Marx and Nietzsche. El seu llibre més recent es titula Nationalism and the Moral Psychology of Community. Actualment és professor Lerman Neubauer de Democràcia i Política Pública en l'Universitat de Brandeis.[2]
Entre els anys 1999 i 2000, Yack fon investigador resident en el Colege Suec d'Estudis Alvançats en Uppsala, Suècia.[3]
