Français : Analyse du radioisotope carbone 14C-14 dans les cernes de bois (Pin Sylvestre) Après la seconde guerre mondiale et la bombe atomique, de nombreux essais nucléaires atmosphériques ont (dans les années 1950) libéré une grande quantité de divers radionucléides et radio-isotopes (dont carbone 14) dans l'air ; assez pour doubler le taux normal de de C-14 de l'atmosphère, et par suite pour le faire augmenter dans la biomasse et nécromasse (partie gauche du graphique). Le pic situé à droite correspond au relargage dans l'atmosphère de C-14 par la catastrophe de Tchernobyl English: Concentration of C-14 in tree rings of pine (Pinus sylvestris) ; percent difference from the level in the year 1950 ; in the 10-km zone near Chernobyl nuclear plant (Grodzinsky et al., 1995). |
