For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Römhild, Meliorationsmaschine, Drainage
ADN-ZB Schaar 21.3.80 Bez. Suhl: Bedeutende Ertragssteigerungen noch in diesem Jahr sind mit der Fertigstellung des Meliorationsobjektes in der LPG (P) Römhild zu erwarten. Auf einer Fläche von rund 160 ha, die zum Teil wegen stauender Nässe nicht intensiv genutzt werden konnte, bringen Mitarbeiter des VEB Meliorationsbau Suhl mit dem Meliomat-Universal täglich bis zu 3 km PVC-Drainrohre in den Boden. Ende des Monats sollen die Arbeiten abgeschlossen sein. - siehe auch W0321-10N |
