El [[Aquila adalberti|àguila imperial ibèrica]] d&#039;[[Espanya]], [[Portugal]] i part de [[Marroc]], considerada una [[subespecie]] d&#039;àguila imperial durant molt temps, ha segut reconeguda en 1996 com [[espècie]] independent (&#039;&#039;Aquila adalberti&#039;&#039;), per importants diferències [[genètica]]s.&lt;ref&gt;Seibold, I., Helbig, A.J., Meyburg, B.-O., Negre, J. and Wink, M.
